kakikukeko is a multilingual portal that helps you compare and choose Japanese-language proficiency exams (JLPT, JFT-Basic, NAT-TEST, J.TEST, BJT, EJU, and others) relevant to Japanese residence statuses — studying, working, or the Specified Skilled Worker program.

Our goal: help you find the right exam for your purpose, in your own language, in about three minutes.

This site's operating entity (corporate name) will be added here once finalized. Our hands-on experience operating the J-cert Japanese proficiency test informs the accuracy standards we apply to the exam information on this site.

This site's operator also operates a Japanese exam, J-cert. On this site, every exam is listed using the same format and criteria, and we do not favor any exam in how it’s displayed. Purpose-based recommendations follow published official requirements for each residence status — they are not influenced by which organization runs the exam. Where relevant, we label our own exam as “Operated by the site operator.”
